PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

BOMA Orange County has recognized the need to connect to local universities within the region to establish integration of its programs, events and overall membership with the next generation professionals from real estate and related industries. 

Engaging university students is an industry level priority.  BOMA OC is seeking to develop a model by which local executives and members of BOMA develop ways to exchange ideas and contacts with university students.  Such a program and initiative, if successful, will forge tremendous leadership and networking opportunities for today’s students as well as allow BOMA OC to grow its membership and mentor its members as their careers develop.  The intangible benefits to students and BOMA are enormous, providing learning and career opportunities for these new comers to the industry and providing access to a new generation of employees and future leaders that ensure the long-term viability of our organization and our members’ organizations, allowing succession at all levels.

Currently, the JOBLINE section of www.bomaoc.org allows companies to post internships and employment opportunities at no charge.

Student Membership

BOMA OC will sponsor a select number of student memberships, including luncheon and education seminar fees.
